Getting back on the horse, bike, treadmill...

yup- see that little stat over in the right hand column.  That's right, I stepped on the treadmill for the first time since January 18th.  Why I stopped running, I'm not sure. 
Why did I step back on the treadmill? Because of the number on the scale. 
I've been watching my weight increase a 1/2 pound here, a pound there. Nearly 30 pounds later I need to put an end to it.
I'm embarrassed to go running out in public, but having a treadmill in the basement- I have NO excuses.
Using a pseudo- couch to half marathon training plan that I found via pinterest which pointed me to snackinginsneakers.com  The plan is based on distance, not time.  I'll just take it slow and steady and see where it takes me.  I'm not signed up for any races currently and we'll go from there.
