New Day, New Year.

Amazing what a good sleep and the start of a New Year can do for ones outlook.
In addition to leading the Red Team for the 2012 Resolution Revolution on the 3 Fat Chicks website, I am participating in The Shrink Yo'self 2012 at Shrinking Jeans. Net

Meanwhile, I'm working on specific resolutions for 2012. In general, I need to move more. I aim for a minimum of 10,000 steps per day on my pedometer. I've given up on the MyTrak device as it just didn't gel with my lifestyle (or computer use). I would like to get to the YMCA on a regular basis, but have a very difficult time finding time for myself.

How do you carve out that time for yourself??

  1. Isn't finding time for ourselves always the crux of things? Good Luck!

  2. My plan for carving out time for myself is to put it on the calendar! If I schedule it in, I can't make excuses. As much as I hate getting up early, I plan to start getting up 45 minutes earlier so I can do some kind of exercise before everyone else gets up and the day begins.

Glad you joining us at the Sisterhood!

  3. As soon as I get the kids off to school, I exercise. I find that if I don't do it before everyone else, then it's just as likely not to get done. Welcome to the Sisterhood!

  4. I'm carving out time for my fitness goals by including my family in them. They will walk with me or do housework while I'm gone!

Can you send me the direct link to the 3FatChicks Resolutions group?

  5. Take your time first. Unfortunately sometimes that means getting up before the crack of dawn. But once you get you done, then you'll feel better about taking care of everyone else.
